PhotoGrammetry

Photogrammetry is the technique of producing 3D models from photos taken of an object. These were done with the program Meshroom, of fellow artist’s sculptures Amanda Jenkins and Henry Watts. As an attempt at digitizing an art medium that normally does not translate well to flat images, they try to create scenes that add to the value of the sculpture.

Synesthesia

The group exhibition Synesthesia is an exploration of Arduino and interactive art. This interactive exhibit invites the viewer to stand before a transparent screen displaying several photogrammatized floral arrangements. The flowers track the position of the viewer in the room, via carbon paint strips on the floor. In the web version, you may move the model via the keyboard.

Outside. In and its accompanying exhibition Inside.Out hosted in person by the Western Washington Viking Union Gallery, are a part of the continual discussion of redefining the gallery experience in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. This exhibition aims to consider all aspects of an online gallery as a part of the art, rather than as means to solve a temporary problem as many ‘digital exhibitions’ have reacted.
