Haley Mounes is an interdisciplinary artist working in mixed media, digital art and installation. By combining an academic arts background with a contemporary knowledge of 3D digital work in Unity, Blender, and photogrammetry techniques, her art aims to cross the gap between digital and physical disciplines.
A recent BFA graduate from Western Washington University, she received the distinguished Bennerstrom award for painting and recently received a grant from the WWU Research and Sponsored Programs center to complete her BFA project titled “A Better Virtual Installation”. During her time at WWU, she participated in National and International Study Abroad Programs, Metro Art Access: New York City as well as Figure and Symbol residency hosted in Auvillar, France.
